Education
2016 Master of Art, in Art: Sculpture
California State University-Northridge • Los Angeles, CA
I earned my Master of Arts in Sculpture and Studio Art, where I explored innovative approaches to large-scale installations. Under the guidance of Christian Tedeschi, my mentor and Chair of the Graduate Committee, I received a substantial grant to build a giant, functional bridge, blending art and engineering in a single immersive piece. My graduate thesis, which cited influential artists who inspired my work, reflected this exploration of sculpture’s dual role in both aesthetic and practical realms. This experience deepened my artistic practice and expanded my understanding of the boundaries of sculpture.
2014 Bachelor of Arts, in Art: Painting
2014 Deans Recognition Award
I completed my undergraduate studies in Painting at California State University, Northridge (CSUN), with a focus on conceptual art. I earned recognition through the Dean's Recognition Award and worked closely with mentor Samantha Fields. As part of my studies, I participated in a large public arts project at the Oasis University Student Union. I graduated with honors, showcasing my commitment to both artistic innovation and academic excellence.
